Louise Allen, pseudonym of British author Melanie Hilton (b. 1949), is a prolific romance novelist specializing in Regency-era historicals. Allen has authored over 75 titles for Harlequin/Mills & Boon, including award-winners The Piratical Miss Ravenhurst (2011) and Scandal’s Virgin (2014), both Romantic Novelists' Association Love Story of the Year.
